Developing a resource business to produce and sell a product in a global environment requires the highest standards of governance, transparency and ethical dealings with all stakeholders, including employees, customers, suppliers, creditors and shareholders.
Ferrexpo’s strategy is to operate to the best international standards of governance and fairness. The Group strongly believes in the importance of operating a sustainable and responsible business in a way that ensures sustainable levels of returns to all stakeholders, including Ferrexpo’s employees and local communities.
Our CSR strategy is centred on 4 key areas:
The Board has ultimate responsibility for managing and evaluating the performance of our CSR programmes, ensuring that we are compliant with both national and international standards.
The CSR Committee, a committee of the Board, holds delegated responsibility for setting Group policy and delivering strategic direction for our CSR objectives. Chaired by the Chief Operating Officer of FPM and supported by the Group’s Chairman and CEO, it focuses on embedding CSR commitments and corporate values into the operating life-cycle, ensuring we deliver on our four guiding principles listed above.
