Our people
Being one of the biggest regional employers, Ferrexpo’s key asset is its people. The Board recognises this position and is committed to the development of its employees and the wider community.
The Group applies best practice employment principles which include principles, policies and practices on company standards, security, recruitment, remuneration, equal opportunities and training and development. These are backed by subsidiary company employment manuals to cover local legal and regulatory requirements.
One of the key cornerstones of Ferrexpo’s commitment to its employees is its extensive personal development programme. The Group provides technical training for all employees consistent with their duties and responsibilities. In addition, Ferrexpo has an active sponsorship programme which supports its employees at institutes of higher education and provides internships to local students.
