Executive Committee

In keeping with best practice governance processes, Ferrexpo has an Executive Committee of senior managers which is responsible for overseeing the operational activities and development of the company and implementing the strategy set by the Board. ExCo is composed of the two members of the Board, together with the heads of all business-critical departments within the Group. ExCo meets monthly.

Kostyantin Zhevago joined the Board as a Non-executive Director on 14 June 2007 and was appointed Chief Executive on 1 November 2008.

He is ultimately the controlling shareholder of Ferrexpo. He has been a member of the Ukrainian Parliament since 1998. He is currently a member of the Parliamentary Committee on Law Policy and Chairman of the Parliamentary Group for Inter-Parliamentary Relations with Japan. Since 2002, he has been a member of the permanent delegation of the Ukrainian Parliament in the Parliamentary Assembly of the European Council and a member of the Ukrainian faction of the Committee for Parliamentary Cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union. He has previously served as chairman of the management board and deputy chairman of the supervisory board of CJSC Commercial Bank Finance and Credit (‘Bank F&C’) and as a member of the supervisory board of JSC Ukrnafta. Between 1993 and 1996, he was financial director of F&C Group of companies. He is a non-executive director of New World Resources plc, a subsidiary of BXR Group Limited. He graduated from the Kyiv State Economic University in 1996, specialising in international economics.

Nikolai Kladiev joined FPM in June 2005.

Over the course of his career Mr Kladiev has spent several years as an Audit manager with Ernst & Young and CFO of a large Russian factory. Mr Kladiev is a qualified Chartered Accountant (UK) and holds a Masters in International Economic Relations from the Kyiv National University of Economics.

Chris Mawe qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Coopers and Lybrand in 1991, having gained a First Class Honours degree in Engineering.

He has held senior financial positions for the past 16 years, firstly with IMI plc both in the UK and Europe, and then with Carclo plc as Finance Director where he oversaw the transition of the group. Most recently, Chris was Finance Director of UK Coal plc where he played a central role in the transformation and development of the groups mining and property business.

Jason Keys

Jason Keys

Jason Keys joined Ferrexpo in July 2011 as the Group Chief Marketing Officer.

Mr. Keys brings with him significant industry experience in the European and Asian iron ore markets. He was previously Global Marketing Manager for Iron Ore at BHP Billiton for 5 years and for the 12 years prior to that, he held senior sales and marketing roles within BHP Billiton Coal and Rio Tinto Coal and Iron Ore. Mr. Keys is a Certified Professional Accountant and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia.

Brian Maynard joined Ferrexpo in January 2011 as the Group Chief Operating Officer.

Mr Maynard has extensive operational experience in bulk commodities having managed various large scale mining divisions throughout his 30 year career at Vale Australia (Coal) and Vale Inco (Canada Nickel). Mr. Maynard was educated at the University of Manitoba, Canada in geological engineering.

Victor Lotous joined Ferrexpo Poltava Mining in 1986.

He is a graduate of Kryvy Rih Mining and Ore Institute, and of the Kyiv State Economic University, specialising in Finance. He became Chief Engineer in 1997 and General Director and Group Chief Operating Officer in April 2007.

Chief Financial Officer of Ferrexpo Yeristovo Mining

Nikolai Goroshko has worked for Ferrexpo Poltava Mining since 1984.

He is a graduate of the Kyiv Institute of National Economics, specialising in Industrial Planning. He became Acting Group Chief Financial Officer in April 2007, and Chief Commercial Officer in charge of the Group's Growth Projects in December 2007.
